How You Will Make an ImpactTruck Technicians work under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment such as dump bodies, crane bodies, bumper cranes, etc.We are a leading manufacturer, distributor and fleet sales expert of premium truck bodies with commercial upfit for vocational markets nationwide. We strive for a pioneering attitude and a focused commitment to innovation in all we do.The Nuts and BoltsMount hitches, shelves, drawers.Install ladder racks, mud flaps.Install back-up cameras.Train mechanics as needed.May be required to handle, move, or perform administrative tasks involving Hazardous material.Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager. -Skills and Abilities:Basic mechanical knowledge.Basic welding skills, electrical wiring, hydraulics, etc. Ability to operate power hand tools.Experience with wiring or hydraulics preferred. -Required CredentialsEducation: High School Diploma or GED preferred. -Certification /License:ASE Certification preferred, may be required for higher Tier levels.How We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
