We are seeking a skilled and compassionate "Associate Immigration Attorney" to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal acumen, leadership skills, and experience in immigration law. This role involves overseeing a team of paralegals, representing clients in legal proceedings, and managing a diverse caseload.
Note: This position will be in-office M-F in Irving, TX
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise a team of paralegals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. - Coordinate with Senior Attorney on case strategy and complex legal issues. - Review 20+ applications weekly before submission. - Prepare for and attend Master Hearings, handling two to eight hearings weekly. - Draft and file legal motions (e.g., Motions to Recalendar, Motions to Withdraw, Motions to Consolidate, Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Terminate). - Coordinate with DHS for joint motions as needed. - Meet with clients to discuss updates, changes in strategy and challenges regarding their case. - Represent clients during USCIS appointments. - Conduct case reviews, monitor deadlines, and maintain daily communication with paralegals.

Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. - Admission to, and in good standing with the bar in any state and/or Puerto Rico. - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in immigration, removal proceedings, and deportation. - Leadership and people management skills - Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities - Ability to multitask and manage high-volume caseloads - Proficiency in legal software and tools - Strong writing, reading, and comprehension skills - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus - Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
