Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sales and Use Tax Accountant to join
their accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare U.S. state sales and use tax returns using Avalara
software
Research customer inquiries regarding sales and use tax treatment
and provide guidance
Assist with sales and use tax audits and voluntary disclosure
projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
4+ years of tax experience required
Preferred experience in a public company within the
Software/Technology industry
Familiarity with accounting software, preferably NetSuite and
Avalara
Understanding of U.S. tax trends, regulations, and policies
